use PLRs' you can get another ebook cheap and use it as a give away with the purchase of your book. write an article and Summit it to ezine articles with your books url in the Signature. forums are great. twitter and facebook. School for websites has some good ideas. Craigslist is another free way to advertise your book. post on blogs that have the same subjected as your book.

In my experience, selling a product (ebook, etc.) through a link in a post or an article isn't a good idea even if the article is a kind of review. Most people don't buy at the first time. Hi, I just joined Clickbank too and I am feeling a bit lost! Sorry if this doesn't answer your question :) But I am so happy I finally found someone who is on Clickbank too! lol Can I add you so we can help each other out??? lol For the moment I have posted some links on facebook and yahoo answers but no response up till now:( I guess people don't like being sold to here! I think the best way is to write articles on a particular category, and then say that you find such book interesting and that a lot more information could be obtained there. Hi Jesse, In my experience, you really should purchase and try out the products you are attempting to market before you write reviews and articles about them. I've tried marketing some products without trying them out first and had no luck. I agree with infoprofits4u (Mario) that the best way to go is to create a list and market your product(s) to them. I've had much more success with this option. I use a variety of other traffic generation methods besides this. I write articles, use some pay per click advertising, back linking, blogs etc. etc., all with various levels of success. I believe that different products warrant different forms of advertising. You need to experiment with various things and see what works for each product you promote. You should also try to get all the knowledge you can about online marketing in general to help you along the way. The important thing to remember is to keep at it, it will take some time and effort in order to be successful, it isn't a get rich quick scenario like winning the lottery.
